Our formulations are made with no harmful chemicals. Our products are averaged at 97.9% natural origin. We never use synthetic fragrance in any of our products.

Recycled & Recyclable Bottles.
Our bottles are made from local recycled curb-side plastic and are recyclable and refillable. Refills and glass bottles are also available to cut down on the number of bottles in circulation and reduce waste. By using recycled plastic, we have prevented 3 million new plastic bottles from entering circulation.

Independently certified by Safe Cosmetics Australia Toxic-Free guidelines and are thereby free from common ingredients potentially associated with carcinogens as well as banned or restricted chemicals.
Made Safe
Independently certified by Safe Cosmetics Australia Made Safe guidelines, which recognise products formulated in a base at least 85% free from the chemicals specified in the Toxic-Free guidelines. Our complete ingredient lists are also published on our formula bottles and our website to promote ingredient transparency.
Australian Allergy Certified
Independently certified by Safe Cosmetics Australia, our products have been deemed free from potential irritants and approved as safe for those living with allergies including eczema, skin irritations, and skin sensitivities.
Australian Made
Born and bred in Australia, Koala Eco prioritises local manufacturing. All our products are made in Australia, using locally sourced essential oils and plant-based ingredients.
Not Tested on Animals
None of our formulas or the ingredients that go into them have been tested on animals.
Vegan Australia Certified
All Koala Eco products are vegan friendly, meaning they do not contain animal ingredients and no manufacturing or testing processes are conducted on animals or use animal products.
Sustainable Ingredients & Packaging
ESSENTIAL OILS
The cornerstone of all our formulas, each Koala Eco product is powered by Australian essential oils, carefully selected for their antimicrobial. antifungal, and antibacterial properties.
PLANT-BASED INGREDIENTS
Joining the essential oils that lie at the heart of our formulas are plant-based ingredients, including surfactants, solubilisers, and alcohol. These work in conjunction with essential oils to deliver a satisfyingly efficacious clean.
NATURAL
We use “Natural and Derived Natural Ingredients”. We believe the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 16128 — Guidelines on Technical Definitions and Criteria for Natural and Organic Cosmetic Ingredients and Products. To date, our products are averaged at 97.9% natural origin. Natural Origin consists of natural ingredients as well as derived natural ingredients.
BIODEGRADABLE
All Koala Eco products are biodegradable, meaning they can be naturally broken down in an ecosystem. This means our formulas won’t harm the planet by contributing to environmental pollution or contaminating waterways.
SEPTIC SAFE
Koala Eco products are water-based, biodegradable, with plant-based surfactants and free from caustics.
NO NEW PLASTIC BOTTLES
In line with our circular approach to sustainability, each of our bottle is made from 100% locally collected rPET plastic, which is completely recycled and recyclable.
